Partition Magic 8.0

Partition Magic 8.0+Serial
Partition Magic is a partition editor which allows you to safely create, combine and resize hard-disk partitions up to 300GB without damaging the information. And it's doing a good job!

It is basically the best alternative at hand if you think you have made a mistake when installing Windows and defining the hard-disks, but you do not want to go through the painful re-installation process again.

With Partition Magic you have a few useful features available - divide one hard drive into several partitions or viceversa, safely run and switch through multiple operating systems on the same computer (via BootMagic), and others.

In addition, you can run the utility from a bootable disk, as well as browse through files, view and edit them on more than one type of file systems.

If you have any questions or doubts about how to use Partition Magic, then watch the presentation to better understand the concepts and keywords.

The software supports USB external drives, as well as FAT, FAT32, NTFS, Ext2, and Ext3 files systems. When you want to make an NTFS partition bigger, you do not even have to restart your computer.

Always remember to do a file back-up before performing a radical action on your hard-disks (yes, Partition Magic can schedules backups for you as well).

The only downfall to Partition Magic is that although it runs on Windows 2000 and XP, the software is not compatible with Windows Vista or 7.

The bottom line is that Partition Magic works great, but only on older computer systems, such as Windows XP. Unfortunately, Symantec has recently announced it will not be working on Partition Magic in the future, due to various issues encountered by users. review and screenshot by softpedia.
