In addition, you can run the utility from a bootable disk, as well as browse through files, view and edit them on more than one type of file systems.

The software supports USB external drives, as well as FAT, FAT32, NTFS, Ext2, and Ext3 files systems. When you want to make an NTFS partition bigger, you do not even have to restart your computer.

The only downfall to Partition Magic is that although it runs on Windows 2000 and XP, the software is not compatible with Windows Vista or 7.
